Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced
Purchase Executive
to handle in-house procurement activities for
mechanical and electrical materials, sheet metal items, fabricated parts, machinery components, and industrial consumables
. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating suppliers, negotiating prices, and managing bulk purchases, primarily through office-based coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source and procure mechanical and electrical commodities, fabricated and machined parts.
  • Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company policies.
  • Maintain vendor database, material records, and price histories.
  • Coordinate with production, maintenance, and stores for timely material availability.
  • Ensure timely delivery and resolve supplier-related issues.
  • Focus on cost optimization and maintaining quality standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 - 6
    years of experience
    in purchase/procurement (mechanical or electrical field).
  • Background in
    sheet metal, fabricated components, and machinery parts
    (not from casting background).
  • Strong understanding of
    industrial materials and components
    .
  • Good communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in
    MS Office and ERP/purchase systems
    .
