Job Title: Import & Export Sea Pricing Executive

Department: Pricing / Operations

Location: Mumbai

Job Summary:

Responsible for obtaining competitive sea freight rates for import and export shipments, coordinating with shipping lines and overseas agents, preparing quotations, and supporting the sales and operations team with accurate pricing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source sea freight rates from shipping lines, NVOCCs, co-loaders, and overseas partners.
  • Prepare competitive quotations for import and export enquiries.
  • Negotiate rates to achieve the best pricing based on volume, lane, and customer requirements.
  • Maintain updated rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing data for different trade lanes.
  • Coordinate with sales & operations teams to understand customer requirements and provide timely pricing support.
  • Share rates with clients, follow up on quotes, and support conversion of enquiries into bookings.
  • Monitor market trends, freight fluctuations, surcharges, and competitor pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, agents, and vendors.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly pricing reports for management.

Qualifications:

  • Any Graduate (Logistics or Supply Chain preferred)
  • 1–4 years of experience in sea export/import pricing or freight forwarding
  • Good understanding of ocean freight, shipping lines, and trade lanes

  • Market awareness of freight rates
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹35,000.00 per month
