Who are we looking for?

We are looking for experienced
Strategy Consultants
with proven expertise in the
MSME banking and financial services
sector to join our exclusive talent pool for an upcoming 12-month strategic engagement with a leading consulting firm and a prominent public sector bank in Mumbai.

The consultants will work closely with client leadership to design and implement a medium-term MSME growth strategy, driving innovation, financial inclusion, and operational excellence. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals who want to make a significant impact in the financial services industry through strategic thinking, transformation, and ecosystem development.

Please note: This is a 12 months (extendable) contractual role, based in BKC, Mumbai

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategic planning and execution to strengthen the bank's MSME business and ecosystem presence.
  • Conduct market assessments, benchmarking, and portfolio analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategic frameworks for MSME product, process, and partnership innovation.
  • Support organizational transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Collaborate with client teams to validate strategies, define success metrics, and track execution progress.
  • Facilitate workshops, stakeholder discussions, and strategic reviews to ensure alignment and momentum.
  • Prepare management reports and presentations summarizing key insights, recommendations, and implementation updates.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure cohesive delivery of strategic objectives.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in strategy consulting, business transformation, or strategic planning, preferably in MSME banking, NBFCs, or fintechs.
  • Proven track record in strategic design, implementation, and ecosystem development.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior client stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred; certifications in strategy or management consulting will be an advantage.
