Seeking an experienced Associate Lawyer with a minimum of 5 years in active legal practice to join our Navi Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will support partners and senior counsel, independently manage client matters, and contribute to the firm's growth with professionalism, diligence, and commitment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of agreements and legal documents, including contracts, MOUs, and litigation papers.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, tribunals, and before regulatory authorities.
  • Provide legal advice on a variety of matters including corporate, civil, and property law.
  • Conduct legal research, prepare case files, and draft legal opinions.
  • Analyze legal issues, statutes, and case law to provide sound counsel to clients.
  • Lead or assist in due diligence, property searches, and title verification (especially relevant in real estate matters).
  • Coordinate and liaise with external counsel and clients, ensuring proper communication and workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, including regulatory filings and updates (e.g., RERA, Companies Act, etc.).
  • Support the formation of societies, documentation for corporate actions, and registration of projects when required.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and act with absolute integrity in all professional dealings.

Requirements

  • LL.B. degree from a recognized institution and valid membership of the Bar Council of India.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian legal system and procedures, especially in corporate, civil, and/or real estate law.
  • Ability to draft, negotiate, and review complex legal documents independently.
  • Experience representing clients in courts/tribunals and handling litigation/corporate matters end-to-end.
  • Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication (English; proficiency in Marathi is an advantage), interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and legal research databases.

Job Type: Full-time
