Ekaya Banaras is a contemporary bespoke handloom brand that is known for presenting the finest works of textile art crafted by the Indian artisans. The brand is led by Mr. Bharat Shah (Director) and his daughter Ms. Palak Shah (CEO). Ekaya's products are handwoven and handmade, supporting and empowering over 10,000 weavers from Banaras, as well as craftsmen from various corners of the country. It offers a very distinct product line based on the principles of heritage and artisanship.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Mumbai for a Store Manager position at Ekaya Banaras. The Store Manager will be responsible for managing store operations, driving sales, inventory management, training new employees, and creating a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in retail and/or luxury sales
- Experience in managing a luxury brand store preferably textiles
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of local and international trends in fashion and textiles
- Familiarity with inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Fluency in English is mandatory, proficiency in Hindi will be an added advantage
