Role Description

We're seeking a
Senior Android Developer
to join our team in
Bengaluru
(on-site).

You'll be responsible for implementing elegant, high-performance applications for the Android platform and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship impactful features.

This role involves maintaining top-tier code quality, optimizing app performance, and leveraging the latest Android technologies to build next-generation communication products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement intuitive, high-quality applications for the Android platform using
    Kotlin
    and
    Jetpack
  • Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences
  • Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and reliability
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices
  • Conduct thorough testing — unit, integration, and end-to-end
  • Use modern Android APIs and frameworks to build world-class mobile apps
  • Attend daily standups and contribute actively in team discussions
  • Communicate effectively and proactively with stakeholders about progress, challenges, and solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

What You Should Have

  • 5+ years
    of professional Android development experience building complex, scalable apps
  • Proficiency in
    Kotlin
    ,
    Jetpack
    , and the Android ecosystem
  • Experience using
    Twilio Android SDK
    is
    highly preferred
  • Familiarity with Android development tools for debugging, testing, and performance benchmarking
  • Strong understanding of
    GraphQL
    or
    REST APIs
  • Experience implementing scalable architectures such as
    MVC
    ,
    MVVM
    , or
    Clean Architecture
  • Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices and mobile design principles
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience with
    Git
    or other version control systems
