Designation: Quality Analyst

Preferred Experience: 4+ years

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer with automation experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing, with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, especially for browser-based applications using Playwright and other testing tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to create comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar.
  • Execute browser automation testing across multiple environments and devices.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and API testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.
  • Implement automated testing within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
  • Ensure automation test coverage is maximized for web applications and cross-browser testing.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
  • Provide detailed test reports, metrics, and quality insights to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2+ years in automation testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for browser automation and end-to-end testing.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, RestAssured).
  • Solid knowledge of Java/Python/JavaScript for writing automation scripts.
  • Strong experience in cross-browser testing and validation.
  • API testing experience using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or SOAP UI.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL and database testing.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
