Position: Nursing Incharge
Department: Nursing
Reporting To: Nursing Superintendent / Medical Superintendent
Overview:
The Nursing Incharge is responsible for managing, supervising, and coordinating nursing staff and patient care activities within the assigned department/ward. The role ensures high-quality nursing services, compliance with hospital standards, and smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor nursing staff performance and duty allocation.
- Ensure proper patient care, safety, and adherence to nursing protocols.
- Maintain ward discipline, cleanliness, infection control, and documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, administration, and allied departments for seamless operations.
- Conduct rounds to assess patient needs, staff availability, and work quality.
- Handle patient complaints and resolve issues promptly.
- Ensure availability of medical supplies, equipment, and maintain stock records.
- Monitor admission, discharge, and transfer processes.
- Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to nursing staff.
- Prepare daily reports and communicate critical issues to the Nursing Superintendent.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH standards, and emergency preparedness.
Qualifications & Skills:
- GNM/B.Sc Nursing with valid registration.
- Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience; supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle emergencies professionally.
- Knowledge of hospital protocols, nursing standards, and infection control.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹20, ₹25,000.00 per month
