Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Bancassurance Sales Manager to drive life insurance sales through our partner bank branches. The role involves working closely with bank branch staff to generate leads, convert sales, and build strong customer relationships, ensuring consistent business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development through Bank Channel
- Drive life insurance sales by leveraging the bank's customer base.
- Collaborate with bank branch managers and staff to generate leads and close sales.
- Conduct regular branch visits and maintain strong working relationships with bank employees.
- Execute joint marketing activities and lead generation campaigns within the bank network.
2. Sales Management
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets (monthly/quarterly/annual).
- Assist bank staff in identifying insurance needs of customers and providing suitable solutions.
- Ensure seamless execution of sales process, from prospecting to policy issuance.
3. Training and Development
- Train and motivate bank branch staff on life insurance products, processes, and compliance requirements.
- Conduct product knowledge sessions, morning huddles, and refreshers to ensure readiness and alignment.
4. Relationship Management
- Act as the single point of contact for bank partners in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with key bank stakeholders.
- Resolve customer and partner issues promptly and professionally.
5. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all sales and operational processes adhere to regulatory and company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate MIS and reports on sales performance, branch activities, and pipeline status.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth policy processing, underwriting, and claims.
Key Requirements:
- Education: Graduate (any discipline); MBA preferred
- Experience: 2–5 years in life insurance or bancassurance sales
Skills:
Strong sales and negotiation abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with bank staff and customers
- Basic understanding of financial products and regulatory norms
