We are looking for candidates that share our passion for tackling complexity head-on and being solution oriented to solve complex data challenges and build the next gen data and analytics platforms.

You will need to be a smart risk taker, who can deliver big ideas as well as transform them into scalable programs. This position has exposure to senior leaders of the organization, where you will be preparing documentation for senior executives and align roadmaps with organizational objectives.

  • Having understanding of what the team must deliver, partner with engineering leads on the team to explore the tradeoffs of various solution options, align on solution architecture and break down the engineering work needed to deliver.

  • Creating believable and achievable plans based on engineering work and dependencies that generate confidence that the team can deliver to committed dates.

  • Orchestrating execution across one or more sprints to successfully ship features on time and under budget looking around the corner for blockers and proactively working with your team, partners and leaders to create visibility and remove them.

  • Being the scrum master for your team. Own Agile planning, standups, demos, retrospectives and the execution of your sprints.

  • Making sure solutions/software built is compliant with agreed SDLC process artifacts and required artifacts are produced and tracked in a timely manner.

  • Cultivating operational excellence within your teams. Insist that your teams provide timely resolution of identified production defects. Understand SLAs and how your systems are performing in relation to them.

  • Operating successfully in ambiguous environments with a high degree of ownership, customer obsession and bias for action while insisting on high standards for yourself and others.

  • Clearly Communicating upward and outward verbally and in writing.

  • Being a continuous learner be it business models, engineering practices or data technology platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (preferably computer science) or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of software engineering, data engineering, data analytics, or business intelligence development experience, in addition to 3-5 years of project/program management experience working directly with data and analytics technical teams. (Total experience required: 15+ years)
