Role Summary:

SM/DGM - Waterproofing is a leadership role and we are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Waterproofing Works to support our building construction projects. The SME will be responsible for ensuring the correct application, quality, and performance of waterproofing systems across all project phasesfrom design to execution and post-construction.

Key responsibilities :

  • Review and validate waterproofing designs, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Recommend appropriate waterproofing systems based on site conditions and structural requirements.
  • Supervise and audit waterproofing works during execution to ensure compliance with approved specifications and standards.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely and quality execution.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of waterproofing failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement waterproofing QA/QC checklists and inspection protocols.
  • Train site teams and contractors on waterproofing best practices and application techniques.
  • Stay updated with latest technologies, materials, and industry standards in waterproofing.
  • Solutioning and Root cause for existing issues (basement, expansion joints and others)

Who are we looking for?

Education:

Min. Graduate with relevant experience in Construction industry for specific role.

Familiarity with IS codes, ASTM standards, and other relevant international standards.

Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Experience:

Relevant experience in Construction industry for specific role yrs )

In-depth knowledge of waterproofing systems (liquid applied, sheet membranes, crystalline, etc.).

Experience in high-rise residential/commercial projects preferred.
