Role & responsibilities

1. Site Supervision and Execution

  • Oversee day-to-day operations at the construction/project site.
  • Ensure work is executed as per drawings, design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Supervise contractors, laborers, and site staff to ensure smooth workflow.

2. Project Planning and Coordination

  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
  • Prepare daily/weekly work schedules and allocate tasks to the team.
  • Monitor progress and ensure timely completion of work.

3. Quality Control

  • Ensure all materials used and work performed meet specified standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and resolve any issues or defects.
  • Ensure compliance with QA/QC processes and project specifications.

4. Resource and Material Management

  • Manage materials, tools, and equipment on site.
  • Maintain stock levels and ensure timely procurement to avoid work delays.
  • Prevent material wastage and theft.

6. Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain daily work reports, labor deployment records, and site logs.
  • Report progress, delays, and issues to project managers or head office.
  • Assist in preparing measurements, bills, and documentation for billing.
