Role Overview

The Intern – IT & Operations will primarily assist in maintaining and supporting the organization's hardware and IT infrastructure. The role involves hands-on work related to system setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting, along with providing operational assistance to the ToT and ToA departments as and when required.

Key Responsibilities

IT (Primary):

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining desktops, laptops, printers, projectors, routers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and network connectivity issues.
  • Support in installation, configuration, and routine checks of systems and peripherals.
  • Maintain inventory records of IT assets and assist in equipment issuance/return.
  • Coordinate with vendors or service providers for hardware maintenance or repairs.
  • Ensure proper functioning of systems during office hours and training sessions.

Operations (Secondary):

  • Provide support to Training of Trainer (ToT) and Training of Assessor (ToA) department

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

  1. System Uptime:
    Ensure all IT hardware and related infrastructure function smoothly.
  2. Hardware Readiness:
    Maintain all equipment in working condition with proper documentation.
  3. Operational Support:
    Provide timely assistance to ToT/ToA departments in training operations.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Graduate in IT, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
  • Good understanding of computer hardware, peripherals, and networking.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good coordination and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to assist in operational/logistical tasks as required.

Learning Opportunities

  • Hands-on exposure to IT infrastructure management in a live organizational setup.
  • Experience in cross-departmental coordination and event support.
  • Practical understanding of operational workflows and technical troubleshooting.
