Service Engineer- Lithium Ion Battery

Role & responsibilities

  • Conduct servicing, and preventive maintenance of lithium-ion battery systems (EV batteries).
  • Diagnose faults and perform root cause analysis on battery packs, BMS (Battery Management Systems), and charging equipment.
  • Test, calibrate, and validate battery modules and packs using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Perform cell balancing, voltage/current testing, and capacity checks.
  • Document service reports, issue logs, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Support R&D and product development teams by providing field feedback.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • 3 to 7 years of experience in lithium-ion battery assembly, testing, or service.
  • Strong knowledge of battery chemistry, thermal management, and BMS protocols (CAN, UART, RS485).
  • Ability to use diagnostic tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, battery testers, and data loggers.
  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills for reporting and customer interactio
