Roles and Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) recycling process flow
  • Assist in recovery of base metals (Copper, Tin) and precious metals (Gold, Silver, Palladium, Platinum) through chemical and physical processes
  • Participate in the handling, treatment, and refining of waste material
  • Execute wet chemistry processes, leaching, precipitation, filtration, and electrochemical recovery
  • Maintain process documentation, material tracking, and quality control logs
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines
  • Monitor recovery efficiency and suggest improvements in process yield and cost optimization
  • Collaborate with technical team to optimize process parameters and scale operations
  • Contribute to laboratory analysis, sample testing, and process trials
  • Operate lab and pilot-scale equipment like fume hood, reactor, furnace, and electrolysis cells

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of electrochemistry is a strong advantage
  • Hands-on experience in metal separation, refining, or waste treatment processes
  • Familiarity with material balance, process design, or lab-scale experimentation
  • Analytical skill with attention to detail and a passion for sustainable technology

Experience & Qualification

  • Experience
    Minimum 1 to 2 years in Precious Metal Recovery from E-waste or Jewelry scrap
  • Qualification (any one of the following):

B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or Metallurgy or Material Science

B.Tech / B.E in Chemical Engineering
