About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Python Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the smooth operation of Python-based applications and systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical support for Python-based applications, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly.

Debug and troubleshoot code to identify root causes of issues and implement effective solutions.

Collaborate with development and operations teams to address customer-reported problems and system errors.

Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on issue resolution.

Document technical issues, solutions, and best practices to build a comprehensive knowledge base.

Assist in optimizing Python scripts and applications for performance and reliability.

Optionally, work with containerized environments using Docker to deploy and manage applications.

Skills Required

Python Expertise: Strong proficiency in Python programming, including experience with Python libraries and frameworks (e.g., FastAPI, Flask, Pandas, NumPy, etc ).

Debugging Skills: Proven ability to debug complex issues in Python applications, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Git and Linux Proficiency: Strong command of Git for version control and extensive experience working in Linux environments.

OpenCV and Image Processing: Basic knowledge of OpenCV and image processing techniques.

Database: Knowledge of Relational databases like PSQL and able to write basic SQL queries.

Hands-on expertise in REST and WebSocket

2+ years of experience in a technical support or software engineering role with a focus on Python.

Brownie Points

Docker Experience: Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments for application deployment and management.

Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
