About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Python Automation Engineer with 36 years of experience to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate will have strong programming knowledge in Python and hands-on experience with automation frameworks for web and mobile applications. You will work closely with developers, QA leads, and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Python.

- Design and implement automation frameworks leveraging standard testing libraries such as pytest and unittest.

- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing through automated scripts.

- Work with Selenium for web application automation and Appium for mobile automation.

- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test scenarios and design efficient test cases.

- Participate in code reviews, provide feedback on automation scripts, and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test results, and reporting of defects in bug tracking tools.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.

- Troubleshoot and debug issues in automation scripts and help improve test coverage and reliability.

Required Skills :

- 36 years of experience in QA automation and Python programming.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python, including scripting, OOP concepts, and standard libraries.

- Proven experience in automation frameworks such as pytest, unittest, or equivalent.

- Hands-on experience with Selenium for web automation.

- Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile application automation (Android/iOS).

- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.

- Experience in working with CI/CD tools and integrating automation into pipelines.

- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

- Knowledge of API testing and tools like Postman is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in Agile development environments.

- Exposure to cloud-based testing or CI/CD tools.

- Familiarity with performance testing or other testing types.
