Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Python QA Automation Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. This role involves building and enhancing automated test suites for our back-end services using Python within our existing internal automation framework..

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust automated test suites for backend services using Python
  • Integrate automated tests into our internal test framework and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with developers and QA teams to understand product requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  • Identify gaps in test coverage and suggest improvements to enhance the overall testing strategy
  • Investigate and troubleshoot test failures, and maintain the reliability of the test suit

Continuously optimize and enhance the automation framework to improve efficiency and maintainability

Key Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation using Python
  • Proficient in writing robust, scalable, and maintainable test automation scripts using Python
  • Hands-on experience in testing backend systems, APIs, and data workflows
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks and tools like PyTest, unittest, or similar
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience in integrating test suites
  • Good grasp of software QA methodologies, processes, and best practices
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of assigned modules, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
