The Opportunity

Join the Gen AI Experiences team at Adobe Experience Platform, crafting modern cloud-native services. This role combines hands-on software development with architectural leadership. You will collaborate with global engineering, product, and AI/ML teams to deliver scalable systems that bring the power of Generative AI to marketing, analytics, and personalization use cases.

What Youll Do
  • Architect, design, and develop highly scalable, low-latency microservices and APIs in Java to support AI-powered experiences.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to design and integrate AI/ML model orchestration and inference workflows.
  • Drive system design, architecture reviews, and performance optimization across distributed systems.
  • Partner with product management and UX teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Build cloud-native services using containerized and event-driven architectures (Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, Pub/Sub).
  • Implement guidelines for observability, reliability, and performance in production environments.
  • Mentor engineers, foster technical excellence, and contribute to architectural blueprints and design documentation.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and maintainability of all deployed services.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 years of experience designing and developing large-scale distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot (or equivalent frameworks).
  • Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, concurrency, and performance engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, monitoring, automation).
  • Experience with microservices, API design (REST/gRPC), and data persistence (SQL, NoSQL).
  • Exposure to AI/ML systems integration, model serving, or workflow orchestration.
  • Excellent debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a global, multi-functional environment.
  • Passion for innovation and a desire to shape how Generative AI transforms digital experiences.
