Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Career Counselor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in guiding candidates/students through their career journeys, from initial inquiry to successful program completion. This role combines elements of counseling, sales, and client success to ensure our users achieve their professional goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Engagement & Conversion:

• Respond promptly to inquiries from potential leads via phone, email, and chat.

• Clearly articulate program details, benefits, and outcomes to prospective candidates/students.
• Guide leads through the enrollment process, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.

• Convert leads into active participants by recommending suitable subscriptions and courses offered on our platform.

• Career Counseling & Development:

• Conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions to assess candidates'/students' career aspirations, strengths, and areas for development.

• Administer and interpret career assessment tools (e.g., aptitude tests, personality inventories) to provide tailored guidance.
• Assist candidates/students in setting realistic career goals and developing actionable plans to achieve them.

• Provide resources and advice on education options, vocational training, and job opportunities aligned with their objectives.

• Program Support & Client Success:

• Offer continuous support to candidates/students throughout their engagement with MentorKart, addressing any concerns or challenges.

• Notify users about upcoming interviews, events, sessions, and new course offerings.

• Provide post-enrollment assistance, ensuring candidates/students derive maximum value from our programs.

• Career Readiness Training:

• Guide candidates/students in crafting compelling resumes and cover letters.

• Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to enhance interview performance.
• Share effective job search strategies and networking techniques to improve employment outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Proven experience in career counseling, academic advising, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of career development theories and counseling techniques.
• Familiarity with career assessment tools and their interpretation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire individuals to achieve their career goals.
• Proficiency in using digital platforms and tools for virtual counseling sessions.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in Career Counseling or related areas.
• Experience with CRM systems and online learning platforms.
• Knowledge of current job market trends and employer expectations.
