Patient Counselor – Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure every patient feels comfortable and cared for during all visits.
  • Assist new patients with consultation forms and clarify queries.
  • Understand patient concerns, capture relevant history, and brief the doctor effectively.
  • Explain treatment plans, pricing, recovery expectations, and other details in simple terms.
  • Drive patient engagement and commitment using an empathetic, patient-centric approach.
  • Address concerns, resolve complaints, and build long-term patient relationships.
  • Coordinate with doctors and teams to enhance patient satisfaction and streamline appointments.
  • Manage daily clinic operations and ensure a welcoming, professional environment.
  • Maintain daily counselor reports and coordinate with finance for billing, invoices, and discounts.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • HSC/Graduate with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in patient counseling, customer service, or sales (healthcare preferred).
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and persuasion skills.
  • Proven sales ability and a passion for patient care.
  • Tech-savvy and efficient with relevant software tools.

Training:

  • A 15-day comprehensive training program will be provided, followed by a performance evaluation before assuming full responsibilities.

Shift Timing:

Flexible 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
