As part of Hiabs Demountables and Defence, you will manage organic and inorganic strategy development for the business to drive continuous profitable growth. In this role, you will provide strategy critical business and market intelligence services & analytics and prepare business cases for growth opportunities, drive strategy development and implementation and provide support to senior management in this area.

This position is based in Helsinki, Finland, but we're also looking at Raisio and Tampere as locations.

Main tasks and responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business and growth opportunities (e.g., partnerships, alliances, mergers, or acquisitions) that will contribute to the division's short and long-term business goals.
• Analyze and conduct business cases, analyze markets, competitors on a regular basis (macroeconomic, customers, competitors, regulatory requirements etc.), utilize external benchmark data i.e. business intelligence.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic and tactical plans, and mergers & acquisitions.
• Supports in defining growth strategy for market area based on the fact-based market analysis.
• Facilitate discussions and manage negotiations with potential clients and business partners to pursue business opportunities and protect the organization's business interests.
• Review and update strategy aligned with the company strategy cadence.
• Develop regular reports to support business development and reviews.
• Coordinate and manage research and benchmarking activities within the corporation; General business development support.
• Develop tools, systems and approaches for business development, strategy design and implementation.

What youll need to succeed

Education:

• University degree (e.g., master in business and administration).

Experience:

• Around 2 to 5 years of experience in business analytics, development roles or any other relevant positions (e.g., consulting).
• Preferably experience in analytical role in a similar industry, management consulting, investment banking or private equity.

Competencies:

• Analytical and problem-solving skills, analytical tools and systems.
• Pragmatic decision making skills.
• Value chain understanding.
• Strong business mind-set with basic financial skills, knows and understands drivers for profitability & growth.
• Project management.
• Lean Six Sigma certification would be considered an advantage.
• Building relationships.
• Structured and fact-based way of working.
• Fluent English language skills.
