We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Software Engineering to lead our Monitoring Solutions Premium Monitoring software teams. In this role, you will drive the development of high-quality software for the Carescape Patient Monitoring portfolio, shape technology roadmaps, and foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy- Lead and grow a world-class software engineering organization focused on the Carescape Software Platform (CSP).
 - Provide strategic direction and operational oversight as line manager for software managers.
 - Collaborate with the Program Management Office (PMO) to define and execute multi-year product and technology roadmaps.
 - Represent software engineering in cross-functional leadership forums and strategic planning.
 
- Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software aligned with GEHCs Quality Management System (QMS) and domain-specific requirements.
 - Oversee software execution across new product introductions (NPIs), ensuring predictability, scalability, and compliance.
 - Facilitate accurate requirements estimation, work sizing, and risk management using modern tools and practices.
 
- Drive continuous improvement in software development processes, tools, and platforms to reduce waste and increase velocity.
 - Champion Lean/Agile principles and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
 - Leverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance coding, code reviews, and test automation efficiency.
 
- Develop and mentor engineering leaders and technical talent across the organization.
 - Promote strong collaboration with hardware, systems, and clinical engineering teams.
 - Engage with external thought leaders and communities to bring in best practices and fresh perspectives.
 
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a STEM discipline.
 - 10 years of experience in software engineering, including line management and team leadership.
 - Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), B&I, and automated testing.
 - Proven track record of successful NPI product releases in complex platform environments.
 - Strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
 
- Experience with the Carescape Software Platform (CSP), Qt framework, and patient monitoring technologies.
 - Familiarity with clinical workflows and integration of wearable parameters.
 - Demonstrated ability to prioritize initiatives based on competitive landscape, technical feasibility, and strategic impact.
 - Ability to lead through influence, drive alignment, and navigate resistance with resilience and clarity.
