What You'll Do

  • Program and set up 
    4-axis Brother Speedio S700bd1
     and 
    5-axis Brother M300Xd1-5AX
     machining centers for 
    high-precision aluminum, stainless steel, and engineering polymer components.
  • Create optimized toolpaths in SolidCAM (with/without iMachining)
    , balancing tool life, cycle time, and precision.
  • Read and interpret 
    3D CAD models, GD&T drawings
    , and manufacturing documentation.
  • Select tools, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies for complex geometries.
  • Work closely with design and mechanical engineers to refine manufacturability and ensure dimensional accuracy.
  • Take ownership of part quality — from CAM simulation to on-machine inspection — and iterate relentlessly until perfection.
  • Push the limits of what's possible on compact high-speed machining centers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years
     of hands-on experience programming and setting up CNC machining centers (preferably Brother / Fanuc controls).
  • Deep expertise in 
    SolidCAM
     (mandatory), especially 
    iMachining
     and multi-axis toolpath generation.
  • Familiarity with Renishaw probing macros, Brother CNC conversational features, and solid carbide tool strategies.
  • Proven track record in 
    precision machining
     with tolerances under ±5 µm.
  • Strong understanding of 
    fixtures, work offsets, probing, tool presetting, and verification workflows
    .
  • Passion for continuous improvement — reducing cycle time, improving surface finish, and achieving higher repeatability.
  • "

    " attitude — thrives under pressure, works collaboratively, and treats each part like a masterpiece.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with 
    high-speed spindle optimization
     (10,000 – 27,000 RPM).
  • Exposure to 
    microscopy / instrumentation / motion control
     components.
  • Experience in 
    fixture design
     or 
    CMM inspection workflows
    .
