Role & responsibilities

The Intern will be responsible for assisting the I&C team with various tasks, including:

Design Support: Assist in the review and creation of engineering documentation, such as P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), instrument indexes, data sheets, and loop diagrams.

System Development: Support the design, configuration, and testing of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), DCS (Distributed Control System), and SCADA systems.

Calibration & Maintenance: Shadow and assist in the calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of various field instruments (e.g., transmitters, sensors, control valves).

Documentation: Organize and maintain technical files, drawings, and reports for instrumentation projects.

Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Process) to ensure seamless integration of control systems.

Troubleshooting: Participate in root cause analysis and basic system troubleshooting under direct supervision.

Preferred candidate profile

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.

Strong foundational knowledge of control loops (PID), process variables (e.g., pressure, temperature, flow, level), and basic electrical circuits.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) for data analysis and reporting.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.
