Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Youth Delegate at the Youth United Festival in Chennai. The Youth Delegate will represent diverse youth perspectives and contribute to the planning, coordination, and execution of festival programs. Responsibilities include engaging in workshops and panels, collaborating with teams to develop initiatives, and facilitating interactive sessions. Youth Delegates will also help foster connections within the youth community and promote the festival's vision.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups.
  • Leadership, team coordination, and event planning experience or capabilities.
  • Public speaking, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Adaptability, time management, and problem-solving skills to work in dynamic environments.
  • A passion for youth development, community engagement, and cultural initiatives.
  • Experience in volunteer or social service activities is a plus.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage but not mandatory.
