Job Summary:

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of electrical systems and equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing. This includes support for production machinery, cleanroom utilities, HVAC systems, and compliance with GMP and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure uninterrupted operation of electrical systems supporting manufacturing, packaging, and utility areas.
  • Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment including control panels, motors, drives, PLCs, and instrumentation.
  • Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and facility expansions.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanroom electrical systems, including HVAC, AHUs, and lighting.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and GMP regulations.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors for electrical upgrades and servicing.
  • Maintain documentation such as electrical drawings, maintenance logs, calibration records, and SOPs.
  • Participate in energy audits and implement energy-saving initiatives.
  • Support validation and qualification of equipment from an electrical perspective.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and support shift operations as needed.
