We are looking to hire Career Counsellors for our College Excellence Program.

Job Title: Career Counsellor College Excellence Program

Location: Jayanagar, Bangaluru

Work Mode: On-site (College Campus)

Experience: 1 to 3 Years in Career Counselling / Academic Advising / Training & Skilling Sector

About the Role

This role involves providing structured career counselling and employability guidance to students through psychometric assessments and one-on-one coaching. The Career Counsellor will support students in identifying suitable career pathways, recommend training interventions, and ensure smooth academic servicing and coordination at the campus level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 1:1 career counselling and guidance sessions for students based on psychometric assessments.
  • Interpret SahiCareer assessment reports and create personalised career roadmaps.
  • Recommend suitable skill training programs, certifications, and placement pathways.
  • Coordinate with Program Manager, Faculty, Mentor Relationship Manager, and Placement Team for student progression.
  • Maintain accurate counselling documentation, progress tracking sheets, and feedback reports.
  • Serve as the primary student support representative for academic servicing, issue resolution, and batch coordination.
  • Provide timely insights and updates on student progress for program reviews and reporting.

Required Skills

  • Strong counselling and student advisory skills.
  • Ability to interpret psychometric/aptitude assessments.
  • Understanding of employability trends, career pathways, and skill development.
  • Excellent communication and rapport-building ability.
  • Documentation, progress tracking, and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborative approach in working with academic and placement teams.

Qualifications

  • Graduation/Post-Graduation in Psychology, Education, or related fields.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in career counselling, academic advising, training coordination, or student engagement.
