
Sales Manager

- Develop and implement sales strategies: Identify market opportunities, set sales targets, and create strategic plans to achieve revenue growth and market penetration goals.
- Build and manage client relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Lead sales team: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives. Set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide guidance and support to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Market analysis and competitive intelligence: Conduct market research, analyze industry trends, and gather competitive intelligence to identify potential areas for growth and market differentiation.
- Sales forecasting and budgeting: Develop sales forecasts, monitor actual performance against targets, and prepare regular sales reports and analysis. Collaborate with finance and senior management to establish sales budgets and track expenses.
- New business development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including expanding customer base, exploring new markets, and promoting product innovation and differentiation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with production, marketing, and customer service departments to ensure seamless coordination, order fulfillment, and customer satisfaction.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Continuously monitor industry developments, technological advancements, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies and identify emerging opportunities.
- Attend industry events: Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote products, build networks, and gather market intelligence.
- Sales performance evaluation: Track and analyze sales performance metrics, conduct sales reviews, and identify areas for improvement. Implement corrective measures and provide regular performance feedback to the team.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role within the paper industry.
- In-depth knowledge of the paper industry, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in using sales management software and CRM systems.
- Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as required.
