As we expand our presence, we are looking for passionate and driven professionals to join our Business Development team.

Position Overview

The Assistant Manager – Business Development will be responsible for driving customer acquisition, building partnerships, and expanding Gau MaaRT's footprint in Ahmedabad. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, relationship building, and on-ground execution to grow both brand visibility and customer base.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Acquisition & Retention

  • Identify and target potential customer segments (households, residential societies, schools, offices, etc.).

  • Conduct customer outreach activities – door-to-door campaigns, society visits, and promotional events.
  • Convert leads into long-term subscribers for A2 milk delivery.

  • Partnerships & Network Building

  • Build strong relationships with RWAs (Resident Welfare Associations), schools, gyms, and health clubs for bulk or group subscriptions.

  • Develop strategic alliances with local wellness and organic food communities.

  • Sales & Growth Targets

  • Achieve monthly business development and subscription targets.

  • Monitor customer feedback and market trends to refine sales strategies.

  • Marketing Support

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute brand-building activities, stalls, and sampling drives.

  • Promote new products in Gau MaaRT's portfolio along with A2 milk.

  • Reporting & Analysis

  • Maintain a record of leads, conversions, and customer feedback.

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Graduate / MBA in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Business Development / Sales (preferably in FMCG, food, dairy, or health sector).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence decision-makers.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with fieldwork across Ahmedabad.
