Job Description:

Waaree Energies Limited, an industry leader in renewable energy manufacturing, is launching a comprehensive circular economy project at its Chikhli (Degam) facility. We are seeking a driven Production Operations Executive to manage and optimize the recycling of in-house industrial waste and scrap materials into a diverse range of sustainable, value-added products, such as wooden pellets, biomass fuels, recycled aggregates, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead day-to-day production operations for converting various industrial wastes and scrap (including wood, plastics, metals, packaging, and process by-products) into recycled or upcycled products.
  • Conduct waste stream analysis and collaborate with stakeholders to identify new recycling and product development opportunities.
  • Trial and implement innovative recycling methods—including separation, sorting, shredding, pelletizing, and compounding—for different waste categories.
  • Ensure strict compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards while driving continuous process improvement and cost efficiency.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the operations team engaged in waste handling, recycling, and finished product packaging.
  • Maintain detailed records of production volumes, process changes, output quality, and environmental metrics.
  • New Value-Addition Point:

    Establish partnerships with local vendors or other industry players to utilize residual materials that cannot be recycled internally, ensuring "zero waste to landfill" targets are pursued.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2-5 years' experience in industrial waste recycling, production operations, or materials recovery roles, preferably in manufacturing, recycling, or waste management environments.
  • Working knowledge of the latest recycling technologies, scrap processing, materials segregation, and upcycling techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills, process optimization mindset, and attention to compliance and sustainability.
  • Team management and cross-functional collaboration experience.

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental, or Production) or related discipline.
  • Proven exposure to industrial waste management or waste-to-product initiatives preferred.
