Role & responsibilities

Oversee and manage the entire billing process for hydro power projects in line with contract agreements and project timelines.

• Prepare, review, and certify RA bills, final bills, subcontractor bills, and client bills as per item rate contract specifications.

• Ensure accurate measurement, quantification, and documentation of work executed at site.

• Coordinate with Planning, Contracts, Site Execution, and Client teams for smooth and timely submission of bills and certifications.

• Review BOQs, drawings, and contract conditions to identify billing opportunities and risk factors.

• Monitor project cash flow through timely billing, certification, and payment follow-ups.

• Manage reconciliation of quantities between client, contractor, and subcontractor accounts.

• Lead and mentor billing engineers and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Support in claim preparation, change orders, escalation calculations, and price variation clauses as applicable.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Proficiency in Item Rate Contracts is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of hydro project billing processes, quantity surveying, and construction measurement techniques.

• Excellent command over MS Excel and relevant billing software.

• Good analytical, documentation, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with contract clauses, FIDIC/CPWD formats, and client billing protocols is preferred.Oversee and manage the entire billing process for hydro power projects in line with contract agreements and project timelines.
