Scrum Master

Job Summary:

The Scrum Master will be responsible for facilitating Agile development practices within the team, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles, and promoting a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and accountability. The role involves guiding cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a servant leader and coach for the Scrum teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery of products.
• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies — Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Review, and Retrospectives.
• Remove impediments that hinder the team's progress and escalate issues as needed.
• Foster strong collaboration between Product Owner, Developers, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure that the team follows Agile principles, practices, and frameworks effectively.
• Track and report key Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, etc.) to ensure transparency and improvement.
• Coach team members on Agile values and mindset to enhance maturity across the organization.
• Support the Product Owner in maintaining a healthy and prioritized product backlog.
• Promote continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
• Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure alignment and timely delivery of interdependent tasks.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I, or equivalent Agile certification required.
• 2–6 years of experience working as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
• Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and software development lifecycle.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Azure DevOps).
• Proven ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹400,000.00 per year
