Job Title: Accountant – US Accounting (Retail & Restaurant Industry)

Location: Remote (Night Shift – 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST)

Salary: Up to ₹40,000 per month

Working Days: 6 days a week (Monday to Saturday)

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant (CA or Semi-Qualified CA) with hands-on experience in US accounting, especially in the retail and restaurant sector. The ideal candidate should be capable of working independently with minimal supervision, maintaining financial accuracy, and proactively flagging issues related to expenses, overdue payments, or discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily bookkeeping using US accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, etc.)
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements, vendor accounts, and POS transactions
  • Track and report dues, overdues, and expense anomalies
  • Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
  • Raise red flags proactively related to financial inconsistencies or risks
  • Handle payroll inputs, sales tax filings, and other compliance tasks
  • Collaborate with US-based teams and respond promptly to queries
  • Maintain general ledger accuracy and ensure detailed financial tracking
  • 1–2+ years of relevant experience in US accounting (retail or restaurant domain preferred)
  • Proficient in QuickBooks, Xero, and Excel
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work night shift (6:00 AM – 3:00 PM CST)
  • 6 days working (Monday to Saturday)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
