Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled PHP WordPress Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining WordPress websites using PHP, themes, and plugins. You'll collaborate with our design and marketing teams to build high-performing, SEO-friendly, and responsive websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites and web applications.
  • Create and modify themes and plugins as per project requirements.
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Troubleshoot and fix bugs, errors, and compatibility issues.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, and web development trends.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a PHP and WordPress Developer (1–3+ years).
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Hands-on experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
  • Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics.
  • Experience with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git) and basic SEO practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with WooCommerce and eCommerce integrations.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs and third-party API integration.
  • Basic knowledge of website security best practices.
  • Familiarity with hosting environments and cPanel.
