We are looking for Wordpress developers with 1-5 years experience, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance real estate websites using WordPress and the Houzez theme. The ideal candidate should have both technical depth and creative problem-solving ability — capable of turning design and business goals into responsive, fast, and scalable web experiences.

Core Technical Skills

1. WordPress Expertise

  • Strong understanding of WordPress core architecture, hooks, and theme hierarchy.
  • Proficiency in creating and managing child themes.
  • Ability to configure and customize custom post types, taxonomies, and shortcodes.
  • Skilled in handling plugins, updates, and site migrations.

2. Houzez Theme Experience

  • Hands-on experience with the Houzez theme (property listings, agents, search filters, map integrations, etc.).
  • Ability to configure Houzez options, set up front-end submissions, and integrate Houzez CRM features.
  • Customization of property detail layouts, search modules, and Elementor widgets provided by Houzez.
  • Understanding of Houzez demo imports and multi-language setups (WPML/Polylang).

3. Frontend Development

  • Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with Elementor (primary page builder for Houzez).
  • Responsive and mobile-first design implementation.
  • Familiarity with UI/UX best practices for real estate websites.

4. Backend / Integration

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
  • Ability to debug PHP errors and modify theme templates safely.
  • Experience integrating APIs (e.g. Google Maps, CRM, property feeds).
  • Knowledge of WordPress REST API is a plus.

5. Soft Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and proactive debugging habits.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Part-time, Internship, Contractual / Temporary, Freelance
