Role Overview:

We are seeking experienced Procurement Managers across Ghana, Nigeria, and Ivory Coast with strong expertise in RCN and sesame procurement. The ideal candidates will have recent hands-on experience in these regions, a proven track record of handling large volumes, and strong networks with farmers, traders, and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement operations for RCN and sesame in assigned region.
  • Handle FOB buying, vendor negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier, aggregator, and farmer networks.
  • Ensure compliance with local trade laws and regulations, working closely with government bodies.
  • Coordinate with local and regional teams to ensure smooth logistics, quality control, and timely deliveries.
  • Oversee procurement volumes of 5,000–6,000 MT or more depending on region.
  • Provide market intelligence on pricing, demand, and competitor activity.
  • Support expansion of company operations and transition to full ownership of procurement processes.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in procurement of RCN and sesame in West Africa.
  • Proven track record in handling large-scale procurement.
  • Strong relationships with suppliers, traders, and local stakeholders.
  • Hands-on recent experience in the respective regions (laws, systems, and processes have changed).
  • Deep knowledge of local sourcing dynamics, compliance, and export procedures.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and team coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage procurement operations end-to-end.
