Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an Accounts Receivable Associate. The Accounts Receivable Associate will oversee timely and accurate processing of claims, ensure effective communication with payers and patients for balance follow-up, manage denial and appeal claims. Daily responsibilities also include assisting with patient statements, addressing discrepancies, and contributing to financial reporting processes to reduce outstanding accounts receivable balance. Collaboration with internal teams to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations is essential.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skills to identify, investigate, and resolve accounts receivable issues effectively
  • Experience in invoicing and a general understanding of finance principles
  • Customer service skills focused on maintaining professional and empathetic communication with patients and payers
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency in EHR's or related Healthcare systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
  • Prior experience in healthcare revenue cycle management is mandatory
