Key Role Expectations

  • Lead with strong technical expertise in power electronics (inverters, DC-DC, OBCs, BMS) for EVs, hybrids, and renewable energy.
  • Drive innovation in next-gen clean mobility solutions.
  • Combine deep domain knowledge with commercial insight.
  • Stay updated on trends and challenges in EV and green tech.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational Leadership

  • Lead product design, innovation, and customer engagement.
  • Build tech partnerships and adopt emerging power electronics innovations.

Product & Technology Management

  • Oversee hardware/software development and ensure compliance with standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, etc.).
  • Drive development of motor controllers, inverters, chargers, and battery systems.
  • Promote innovation in SiC/GaN tech and IP creation.

Project & Resource Management

  • Manage multiple product development projects across timelines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing for smooth product launch and cost optimization.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Act as a key interface for clients and OEMs.
  • Present solutions, ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams and nurture talent.
  • Build a culture of innovation and performance.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics.
  • 1520 years in automotive electronics, EV systems, or power electronics.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in EV power electronics and converter design (LLC, PFC, etc.).
  • Hands-on with motor drives (BLDC, PMSM, SRM), BMS, AC/DC chargers.
  • Proficient in MATLAB, PSIM, LTSpice, etc.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC, thermal design, and safety standards (ISO 26262, ASPICE).

Leadership Skills:

  • Strong decision-making, project and people management.
  • Experience scaling products from prototype to production.
  • Customer-first, entrepreneurial mindset.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with SiC/GaN, 400V800V systems.
  • Familiarity with EV regulations and homologation.
  • Exposure to AI/ML in energy management.
  • MBA preferred but not essential.
