Job Summary

We are seeking a Sales Head / Sales Director-Field Sales to lead and scale our on-ground sales operations across multiple regions. The role involves overseeing the field sales team, driving business growth through school and distributor partnerships, ensuring on-time product delivery, and achieving revenue targets. You will be responsible for building a high-performing sales network, optimizing sales processes, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. B2B Sales

  2. Drive business growth through B2B sales with schools, distributors, and institutional clients.

  3. Identify, pitch, and close deals with new business partners while nurturing existing relationships.
  4. Develop customized proposals and solutions to meet client requirements.

  5. Existing Distributor Relationships

  6. Leverage established relationships with distributors across India to expand sales reach.

  7. Onboard new distributors and manage distributor performance and targets.
  8. Negotiate commercial terms, margins, and promotional activities with distributors.

  9. Existing School Relationships

  10. Utilize a strong network of schools across India to generate sales opportunities.

  11. Build long-term partnerships with school management and decision-makers.
  12. Organize presentations, demonstrations, and events to promote products in schools.

  13. Travel Requirements

  14. Willingness to travel extensively across India for client meetings, school visits, and distributor engagement.

  15. Conduct regular on-ground visits to monitor sales execution and resolve operational challenges.

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and implement a robust field sales strategy aligned with Creative Galileo's growth objectives.
  • Identify new opportunities within schools, distributors, and institutional channels.
  • Set annual and quarterly sales targets for different territories.

Team Leadership & Management

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a large team of field sales executives and regional sales managers.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, territory visits, and training sessions.
  • Foster a results-oriented, motivated, and accountable team culture.

Business Development & Partnerships

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with schools, distributors, and key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close high-value deals.
  • Expand distribution channels to increase market penetration.

Field Sales Operations

  • Oversee daily field activities including school visits, distributor coordination, and promotional events.
  • Track product stock movement, availability, and sell-through rates.
  • Ensure timely collections of payments from clients and distributors.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor sales data, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Prepare performance reports and present to the leadership team.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track leads, opportunities, and follow-ups.

Key Skills & Competencies needed

  • Strong experience in field sales, preferably in EdTech, or education products.
  • B2B Relationships Mandatory
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and manage multi-location sales operations.
  • Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling sales teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 10-15 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years in field sales management.
  • Experience handling multi-state or national-level sales operations.
