Job Description:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Specialist/expert capabilities and knowledge in ITIL practices / processes

• Excellent planning and organisational skills.

• Be able to translate Technical detail into business language and vice versa

• PRINCE2 and/or Project Management experience is desirable, ability to create reports/plans of key milestones and dependencies

• Sound financial management and commercial skills

• Understanding of the industry, political environment, regulatory and legislative issues

• Experienced in managing the transition of new or changed IT Services into BAU

• Able to assess the potential service impact of emerging developments and technologies and apply them to products and processes

• Understanding of IT approach to testing IT infrastructure and Applications

• Ability to see the big picture, analyse complex delivery schedules and evaluate ways to meet expectations; including alignment to Business Change Management and the Release Pipeline

• Risk and Impact Analysis

• Understanding the downstream impact of change and release over an extremely complex IT technical estate

• Highly developed communication, influencing and negotiation skills, able to present effectively at major meeting and to senior stakeholders

• Desired Line management and leadership capabilities

• Excellent networking skills used at a senior level within the co-operative organisation and with suppliers, partners and sub-contractors

• Experience of working with development teams and a defined project methodology
