About the Role :We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced BTP Security Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) environment. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing security configurations, focusing on authorization and trust management.

You will collaborate closely with business users and technical teams to understand security requirements and implement effective solutions. Required Technical Skill Set :

  • Creating Roles, Groups, Catalogs, and Role Collections in SAP BTP
  • Configuration and management of Identity Providers (IdP)Must-Have Skills :
  • In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with Identity Provider (IdP) configuration and integration with SAP BTP.
  • Proven ability in troubleshooting issues related to the SAP Authorization and Trust Management Service.
  • Extensive experience in creating and managing Roles, Groups, Catalogs, and Role Collections within the SAP BTP environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Configure and manage Identity Providers (IdP) for secure user authentication and authorization within SAP BTP.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP Authorization and Trust Management Service, ensuring seamless and secure access to BTP resources.
  • Design, create, and maintain Roles, Groups, Catalogs, and Role Collections in SAP BTP based on business requirements and security best practices.
  • Create and manage spaces and pages within SAP BTP to organize and control access to applications and services.
  • Set up and manage application security configurations on the SAP BTP platform.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand their access needs and identify opportunities for improving efficiency and security through optimized role and authorization designs.
  • Assign Role Collections to individual users or user groups within SAP BTP.
  • Manage Role Collections at the subaccount level, ensuring consistent security policies across different BTP environments.
  • Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP security features, best practices, and security advisories.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of security documentation and procedures.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of hands-on experience in SAP security, with a strong focus on SAP BTP.
  • Deep understanding of authorization concepts, principles of least privilege, and segregation of duties.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills (Good to Have) :

  • Experience with other SAP security modules (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Security).
  • Knowledge of cloud security concepts and best practices.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud Identity Services.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation tasks.
