We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sr. Executive / Assistant Manager – Purchase to manage procurement operations and inventory control at our educational institution. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in purchase and supply chain processes, especially in a structured institutional or corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end procurement operations as per institutional policies and approved vendor lists.
  • Raise Purchase Orders (POs), track deliveries, and maintain accurate procurement records.
  • Ensure timely procurement of educational materials, lab supplies, office essentials, and institutional requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of all categories; initiate reorder as needed.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and ensure records are up-to-date.
  • Liaise with internal departments (Admin, Labs, Faculty, etc.) to gather purchase requirements.
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely deliveries and resolve supply chain issues.
  • Maintain records of vendor performance, delivery timelines, and quality checks.
  • Prepare regular reports on inventory usage, stock aging, and procurement status for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and audit standards.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of purchase/procurement processes and inventory control.
  • Experience in ERP software or inventory management tools.
  • Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities.
  • Professional communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and departments.
  • High attention to detail and process orientation.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Commerce, Business Administration preferred).
  • PG/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management is a plus.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in purchase/inventory management.
  • Prior experience in an educational institution or service sector is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
