About TMUS Global Solutions T-Mobile is Americas supercharged Un-carrier challenging conventions and setting new standards in wireless With the nations largest and fastest 5G network T-Mobile delivers advanced connectivity and unmatched value to millions across the U S Were unwaveringly obsessed with providing the best possible service experience driven by a spirit of disruption that fuels competition and innovation in wireless and beyond TMUS India Private Limited is a subsidiary of T-Mobile US Inc and operates as TMUS Global Solutions Job Title Sr Engineer SDET SAP Oracle ERP About the Role The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test SDET is a core member of the development team participating across the full development lifecycle This role translates business and functional requirements into deliverables designs and maintains test automation frameworks and ensures automated tests are integrated into the continuous delivery pipeline The Sr SDET develops high-quality maintainable and performant test code consults on test automation strategy and serves as a leader and coach across teams to influence quality practices and standards What Youll Do Design develop and maintain automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers Analyze code coverage using industry-standard tools e g SonarQube Oversee integration of automated tests into the Continuous Delivery pipeline Design and author test cases for unit functional performance scalability and durability testing Manage and groom automated and manual test suites for balanced coverage and fast feedback cycles Work with IT partner teams to provide create or modify test data through repeatable automated processes Provide internal training on testing skills and tools contribute to the Test Community of Practice to evolve testing practices and standards Lead defect management and interface with external teams on test strategy and execution Ensure requirements and or user stories are testable and provide estimates for user stories and tasks Coordinate with Dev and Ops regarding testing practices to ensure quality thresholds are met Contribute to design and code reviews Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management What Youll Bring Must have skills Bachelors degree in software engineering Computer Science or related field 47 years of experience using three or more development languages e g C Java JavaScript Any Monitoring Observability Tools -Splunk AppDynamics Dynatrace Prometheus Grafana SolarWinds or others 47 years of experience with three or more automation tools e g Selenium TestNG Appium Sauce Labs Rest Assured Postman Cucumber Jasmine Protractor 47 years of experience with testing methodologies such as Test-Driven Development TDD and Behavior Driven Development BDD API Testing Acceptance Testing end to end testing 47 years of experience using issue-tracking software and Agile project management systems JIRA Proficiency with SQL querying joins stored procedures Knowledge of NoSQL databases MongoDB DynamoDB etc Any database Nice To Have Working knowledge using CA Service Virtualization or equivalent AI experience is a plus
