About TMUS Global Solutions T-Mobile is America s supercharged Un-carrier challenging conventions and setting new standards in wireless With the nation s largest and fastest 5G network T-Mobile delivers advanced connectivity and unmatched value to millions across the U S We re unwaveringly obsessed with providing the best possible service experience driven by a spirit of disruption that fuels competition and innovation in wireless and beyond Disclaimer TMUS India Private Limited is a subsidiary of T-Mobile US Inc and operates as TMUS Global Solutions TMUS India Private Ltd and T-Mobile US Inc do not provide telecommunication services in India About the Role The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test SDET is a core member of the development team participating across the full development lifecycle This role translates business and functional requirements into deliverables designs and maintains test automation frameworks and ensures automated tests are integrated into the continuous delivery pipeline The Sr SDET develops high-quality maintainable and performant test code consults on test automation strategy and serves as a leader and coach across teams to influence quality practices and standards What Youll Do Design develop and maintain automation systems and tools to be used by development and test engineers Analyze code coverage using industry-standard tools e g SonarQube Oversee integration of automated tests into the Continuous Delivery pipeline Design and author test cases for unit functional performance scalability and durability testing Manage and groom automated and manual test suites for balanced coverage and fast feedback cycles Work with IT partner teams to provide create or modify test data through repeatable automated processes Provide internal training on testing skills and tools contribute to the Test Community of Practice to evolve testing practices and standards Lead defect management and interface with external teams on test strategy and execution Ensure requirements and or user stories are testable and provide estimates for user stories and tasks Coordinate with Dev and Ops regarding testing practices to ensure quality thresholds are met Contribute to design and code reviews Perform other duties and projects as assigned by business management What Youll Bring Bachelors degree in Software Engineering Computer Science or related field and 5 years of relevant experience OR Masters degree and 3 years of experience 47 years of experience using three or more development languages e g C Java JavaScript 47 years of experience with three or more automation tools e g Selenium TestNG Appium Sauce Labs Rest Assured Postman Cucumber Jasmine Protractor 47 years of experience with testing methodologies such as Test Driven Development TDD and Behavior Driven Development BDD 47 years of experience using CA Service Virtualization or equivalent 47 years of experience using issue-tracking software and Agile project management systems 47 years of experience designing and developing applications on Unix or Windows mobile platforms Android or iOS or complex multi-tier applications Must Have Skills Hands-on experience in Java or Spring Boot for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks Proficient in automation testing of backend services and APIs Strong knowledge of REST APIs including testing and validation Experience using Postman or Rest Assured for API-level testing Familiarity with Swagger OpenAPI for understanding and validating API contracts Skilled in Cucumber for behavior-driven development BDD and integration into automated pipelines Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for deploying and testing applications in cloud environments
