Role: Associate - Business Finance (MBA Finance)

Location: Bengaluru

Overview:

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Associate to join our Business Finance team.

This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a foundational understanding of financial processes

and a strong command of Excel. You will play a crucial role in supporting the finance team by

analyzing data, preparing reports, and assisting with various financial planning and compliance

activities to support informed business decisions.

What You Would Be Doing:

  • Financial Analysis Support: Assist in analyzing financial performance, identifying trends,

and preparing preliminary reports for review by senior finance team members.

  • Reporting & Data Management: Support the preparation of various financial reports,

including data extraction, reconciliation, and presentation.

  • Tax & Compliance Support: Assist with tasks related to GST and other tax compliances,

ensuring accurate data submission.

  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve existing financial processes and

support the implementation of new, efficient workflows.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various internal departments to gather

necessary financial information and clarify data points.

What We Are Looking At:

  • Education: MBA in Finance from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a finance or accounting role.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong command over Microsoft Excel is a must (including functions,

pivot tables, and data manipulation).

  • Financial Understanding: Basic understanding of financial statements, accounting

principles, and financial concepts.

  • GST & Taxation Knowledge: Foundational understanding of Goods and Services Tax (GST)

and other direct/indirect tax concepts.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and draw basic insights.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to data accuracy and reporting.
  • Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Eagerness to tackle challenges and find practical solutions.
