Main Purpose of the Job

- Junior: Delivery of manufacturing isometrics along with associated MTOs. Operate Aveva E3D (PDMS) HVAC Design, Isodraft, and Draft modules.

- Middle: In addition to Junior responsibilities, provide expertise in reading & understanding P&ID, specifications, and checking the 3D model with P&ID for updates.

- Senior: In addition to Junior & Middle responsibilities, monitor all designers in India, guide daily activities, coordinate with other disciplines, and report to Lead.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

- Run Aveva E3D (PDMS) HVAC Design, Isodraft, and Draft modules.

- Knowledge of Naviswork is required.

- Junior:

- Assigned by HVAC Lead Discipline Engineer.

- Coordinate with HVAC engineers and designers.

- Use Isodraft and Draft to complete HVAC lines drawings for fabrication.

- Manage MTOs extraction from 3D model.

- Print A3 format HVAC isometric drawings and associated MTOs.

- 3D capabilities in HVAC design using AVEVA E3D.

- Prepare and attend 3D model reviews upon request.

- Liaise with other CAD designers as needed.

- Reply and implement Design Review comments.

- Middle:

- Ability to check 3D model with P&ID and update as necessary.

- Expertise in E3D Design & Isodraft for HVAC.

- Check isometrics in accordance with P&ID, variations, and project requirements.

- Good working knowledge in E3D Draft.

- Ability to extract different reports from E3D Design.

- Basic skill in report analysis in Excel.

- Export RVM from E3D.

- Bulk Isometric export and review.

- Good documentation skills.

- Coordinate with designers, stress, and lead.

- Good team player.

- Senior:

- Expertise in all design tools and aid juniors.

- Coordinate with stress for necessary input and updates.

- Understand network requirements and ensure implementation in design.

- Track changes and variation implementations.

- Clash analysis using Navisworks, solution definition, and proficiency in checking/updating 3D from As-built.

- Proficiency in analyzing/comparing different reports in Excel.

- Maintain markup documents and track modification requests.

- Coordinate with different disciplines for requirements.

- Follow b.NEXT quality procedures to finalize deliverables.

- Prepare detailed replies for client comments.

- Track and monitor all team and project activities.

- Take necessary decisions in absence of Lead.

- Good written and verbal communication in English.

- Organize work to achieve scheduled targets.

 

Education/Qualifications

- All Levels: Engineering Degree or Diploma.

- Experienced in HVAC execution studies with Aveva E3D (PDMS).

- Skilled in HVAC design, supply, prefabrication, erection, and tests.

 

Experience

- Middle: 5-12 Years in E3D & HVAC, first evidenced working period with Aveva E3D (PDMS).

- Senior: 12+ Years in E3D & HVAC, experience in similar role, first evidenced working period with Aveva E3D (PDMS).
