Position Summary
The Export Manager is responsible for business development and sales growth in the company's international markets. They develop and implement export strategies, establish and maintain overseas distribution channels, and ensure the brand's competitiveness and sustainable growth in target markets. This position requires strong international market acumen, communication and coordination skills, and a deep understanding of export processes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement the company's export strategy to drive product sales growth in target countries and regions;
Identify and develop new international distributors, agents, and strategic partners;
Analyze international market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to provide advice on the company's strategic decisions;
Manage export processes, including order processing, logistics coordination, customs clearance, and document management;
Work closely with production, finance, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth export operations;
Participate in international exhibitions and industry events to enhance brand awareness overseas;
Regularly report export sales performance, monitor profit margins and market performance;
Ensure compliance with import and export regulations and internal company policies.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in international trade, marketing, business administration, or a related field;
5+ years of international sales or export management experience (preferred in the spirits, wine, food, or fast-moving consumer goods industries);
Familiarity with international trade procedures, INCOTERMS, foreign trade settlements, and international logistics;
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills;
Ability to independently develop overseas markets and achieve sales targets;
Fluent English (Portuguese, French, or Spanish preferred);
Ability to travel internationally.
