Job Summary:

We are looking for a polite, professional, and well-organized Front Office staff to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at Medpark Hospital. The role involves managing patient registration, appointment scheduling, billing coordination, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining the highest standards of discretion and compassion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors courteously and assist them with registration, inquiries, and directions.
  • Manage patient check-in/check-out processes and collect required documentation.
  • Schedule appointments for OPD and IPD follow-ups using Hospital Information System (HIS).
  • Handle incoming calls, transfer them to appropriate departments, and take messages.
  • Collect consultation fees, issue receipts, and coordinate with the billing team when needed.
  • Maintain the reception area in a clean, organized, and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with doctors, nursing, billing, and other departments for smooth patient flow.
  • Assist with admission and discharge formalities and update patient records.
  • Handle TPA/insurance coordination and guide patients regarding paperwork.
  • Address patient concerns politely and escalate issues to the concerned authority when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Graduate in any stream (preferably with diploma/certification in Front Office or Hospital Administration).
  • 1–3 years of experience in front desk/customer service role, preferably in a hospital or clinic.
  • Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with MS Office and HIS software.
  • Pleasant personality, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and weekends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of medical terms and hospital workflows.
  • Experience with OPD/IPD registration and TPA formalities.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹25, ₹35,000.00 per month
