Are you a visionary risk leader ready to define and govern the future of risk at a top-tier Asset Management Company (AMC)?
We are looking for a
Chief Risk Officer (CRO)
to take the helm of our enterprise-wide risk management framework, ensuring a robust and proactive risk culture across the AMC and its Mutual Fund Schemes.

This is a strategic role reporting directly to the CEO, with high visibility to the Board and Trustees.

The Core Mission (Your Impact)

Your main focus will be building resilience and ensuring comprehensive oversight:

  • Culture Champion:
    Establishing an organisation-wide
    risk-conscious culture
    .
  • Total Ownership:
    Overseeing all risk management activities for the AMC and the Mutual Fund Schemes.
  • Governance & Framework:
    Driving the implementation and governance of the
    Risk Management Framework (RMF)
    .
  • Structured Reporting:
    Formulating and implementing best-in-class risk monitoring and reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

You will be the architect and guardian of our risk posture, with duties including:

1. Strategy & Governance

  • Review and update all risk-related
    policies
    and the
    ERMF
    for RMC approval.
  • Define, review, and suggest changes to the
    risk appetite and metrics
    for the AMC and schemes.
  • Implement robust mechanisms for
    credit and fraud risk strategies
    and reporting.
  • Formulate recommendations for
    risk-related KRAs
    for key leadership roles.

2. Risk Identification & Oversight

  • Identify, assess, and estimate
    emerging risks
    and their potential impact.
  • Define processes to assess control effectiveness (e.g.,
    RCSA
    and
    Stress Testing
    ).
  • Periodically review the
    Delegation of Powers (DoP)
    for daily risk management and corrective actions at the Fund Manager, CIO, and CEO levels.

3. Reporting & Communication

  • Independently assess and report existing and emerging risks to the
    Risk Management Committee of the Board (AMC & Trustee)
    .
  • Report the outcomes of the risk management function directly to the
    CEO
    at least once a month.
